PanAmerican Operating Inc. targets oil and gas leases in Wise County, Texas. We are actively pursuing and have completed several new leases and or development properties in Wise County and Denton County, Texas. There are continually small to medium size tracts where leases expire with previous lessees and revert back to the mineral interest owner or owners. Not everyone meets the drilling commitments or lease expiration term, say Jim Dyer, Senior Landman for, PanAmerican Operating Inc. We always watch for opportunities that may arise from these type of situations but mostly you have to react quickly and be able to perform reasonably soon! This makes it difficult to respond and perform every time but we try to get our fair shares worth of these properties.
June 20, 2003:
PanAmerican Operating Inc. acquires new leases in Parker County Texas in the Barnett Shale Field near two newly drilled wells. The new leases are geographically sound related to the two new wells. There has been very favorable information on these wells to get us excited about the potential in the area. We started this leasing before any wells were drilled so this is good news for us and our partners. We always felt there was good potential here and feel much better now after initial results are available, quotes John Burns, President, PanAmerican Operating Inc.
